How does a child qualify for Title I services?
Kindergarten- Kindergarten students who show a need for more reading and math interventions, based on Early Literacy and Early Numeracy assessments receive additional instructional time with a Title I teacher.
First Grade students may qualify based on the following:
- Teacher observation and recommendation.
- Performance on AIMSweb Early Literacy, R-CBM and Math assessments.
- Performance on the 1st grade pre-reading assessment.
Second Grade students may qualify based on the following:
- Teacher observation and recommendation.
- Performance below the 50th percentile on the STAR Tests.
- Performance on AIMSweb R-CBM and Math assessments.
Third Grade students may qualify based on the following:
- Teacher observation and recommendation.
- Performance below the 50th percentile on the STAR Test.
- Performance on AIMSweb R-CBM and Math assessments.
Fourth Grade students may qualify based on the following:
- Teacher observation and recommendation.
- Performance below the 50th percentile on the STAR Test.
- Performance on AIMSweb R-CBM and Math assessments.
- Performance on MCA tests.
